Black Grape Margaritas

February 22 is #NationalMargaritaDay (as if we needed an excuse!) Here’s a blended version of an all-time favorite, with benefits: antioxidants and fiber. Who says healthy can’t be fun? 🙂

Ingredients

1 cup California black table grapes
2 shots (3 ounces) tequila
2 shots (3 ounces) sweet and sour mix
2 cups ice
lime slices and whole black grapes, for garnish

Directions

Place all ingredients into a blender and purée until slushy, about 2 minutes. Serve in margarita glasses and garnish with a whole grape and a lime slice.

Servings

Makes 2 servings

Notes

This is a slightly more fiber and nutrient filled version of the classic beachside beverage. Rim the glass with coarse salt if you like it, otherwise, just garnish and enjoy!
